Spa-Francorchamps Circuit Museum (Abbey of Stavelot)

Discover the prestigious history of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and the many vehicles on display

Nestled in lush greenery between Stavelot, Malmedy and Spa, and scene of so many car exploits and motorcyclists, the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is still considered by many drivers as “the most beautiful circuit in the world”. In the superb vaulted cellars of the abbey, the museum traces the prestigious history of the circuit.

Unpublished visual documents, educational panels and a constantly renewed presentation of exceptional vehicles trace the passion of competition, pioneers to the present day: Ferrari, March, Chevron, Porch, Cooper, … Formula 1, but also epic motorcycles and sportscars which raced during the 24-hours, take here a new dimension.

The “Demoiselles de Herstal” evoke with nostalgia the hours of glory of the industries of Liège: FN, Gillet and Saroléa.

A large model and Playstation 4 consoles make the circuit more concrete for amateurs.
