At the Maison des Géants (Giants’ House), there is a festive atmosphere all through the year. The museum is housed in a Louis XV-style mansion and takes visitors on a captivating voyage into the world of Giant figures.
All the visitors’ senses are brought into play. You will see how a model giant is created and, further on, the different ways they can be carried, and how celebrations are passed from one generation to the next…
The gigantic phenomenon is not limited to our borders, since examples of model giants can be found all over Europe. A number of richly illustrated documents introduce them to the visitor.
The Maison des Géants also organises regular temporary exhibitions on a wide range of themes.
Enjoy strolling through this magical site at the heart of the town!
In addition to the discovery of the museum, there are also fun and original activities adapted to the different levels of education:
Guided tours from 1:30 am are offered to groups (from 15 to 25 people) by reservation. Possibility to drink a coffee or a “Gouyasse” beer in our cafeteria (only on reservation).
Special events are planned for children who want to organize a birthday, guided tours are regularly offered to family groups and every year Saint Nicholas attracts fans of board games.
To make the discovery of the place even more pleasant, a family activity allows you to discover the museum from a different angle. This playful and attractive formula immerses you in the world of giants … Without a doubt a good moment of fun!
