Located in the old center of Namur, the museum presents the life and work of Félicien Rops from the beginning of his career as a caricaturist to his more daring works. Félicien Rops was born in 1833 and died in 1898 and experienced the 19th century, a period characterized by the industrial revolution, an evolution of values ​​and norms and the Modernity that makes way for Symbolism in art. The museum wants to be a place where the temperament of this exceptional artist can be expressed.
