Stavelot Abbey and the "point image" editions are pleased to invite you to their signing session, as part of the publication of their sketchbook, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
Event in the presence of the cartoonists: Jean-François Lentz, Robert Paquet, Benoît Deliège, Pierre Legein, Yves Plateau, Nicolas Van de Walle, Didier Chardez, Georges Van Linthout, Francis Carin, Christian Papazoglakis and Erik Arnoux! A dedication is offered with the purchase of a booklet, for sale in the museum shop.
This booklet is a tribute to Virgile Gauthier, the late director of Stavelot Abbey and former director of Musées et Société en Wallonie, who was both a comic book and a motorsport enthusiast. The links between motorsport and comics have been around for a long time, in the crazy races of Michel Vaillant or in the numerous cars of Hergé or Jacques Martin. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the circuit, some cartoonists have taken up the pen, accompanied by Jean-Michel Martin in the preface.
In this original sketchbook, you can relive the great moments of the track through racing drivers and sports cars who forged the legend of the track, thanks to a previously unpublished collectible!
A COLLECTOR'S ITEM FOR FANS OF THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL CIRCUIT!
