The exhibition "Les Portes d'or. Doudelet and Symbolism" aims to rediscover an artist who is fully integrated into the world of Belgian and international symbolist art. Indeed, it is the entire "fin de siècle" universe that is visible in Doudelet's work. Paintings, drawings, poetry illustrations, prints and theatre sets bear witness to a blue artistic adventure that he shared with Maurice Maeterlinck, of whom he was a close friend.
