In this exhibition, you will have the opportunity to create your own EXTRAORDINARY creature while learning incredible anecdotes and facts about the animals that underlie myths, legends, fairy tales and folklore from around the world.

Discover the aquatic fauna under different facets at the Aquarium...

Get acquainted with some 150 aquatic animal species from oceans, seas, lakes and rivers all over the world, spread across fifty or so aquariums.

At the Museum: marvel at the diversity of the living … 20,000 specimens to discover, from all continents: preserved, stuffed or in the form of skeletons. 

A unique opportunity for an eye contact with remarkable animals.

MCompanies

The Aquarium-Museum is the only complex in the heart of Wallonia that focuses on knowledge of the water world. It therefore offers an exceptional environment for organizing an event. In this unique setting, with a cozy and warm atmosphere, you celebrate your event as you discover the approximately 150 species of aquatic animals in the Aquarium that evolve into around fifty pools with natural environments, real “open windows” on the Aquatic World. In the heart of the Aquarium-Museum you experience a cocktail in a special way, which will certainly mark the spirit of your guests. Capacity: +/- 200 standing people. Rental schedule: only in the evening. On working days from 5 pm. Weekends, public holidays and every day of the Easter holidays, July and August: from 6 pm. JSchools

Are you a teacher or a class or student responsible? From kindergarten to high school, use our different “school groups” programs! From awareness to understanding: the Aquarium-Museum, a place of discovery, learning and scientific reflection, offers various visit programs to tackle and / or deepen the life sciences. Different themes of guided visits, workshops, handsets: everything to spend a day rich in discoveries and learning. LPeople with specific needs

An animator monitors your visit, specially designed according to the needs of the group members: language adaptation according to age, level, sensory and psychomotor skills … In this way their senses can awaken and visitors can marvel at their own pace. Games, mime games and scenarios complete the animation and ensure a better understanding of the animal world. OGroups

You are a group of at least 15 people: youth movement, adults, seniors, specialists or aquarium lovers, working group, companies … An animated visit to the Aquarium-Museum = an exciting half-day in perspective! Discover the fascinating universe of the water world and the richness of the animal kingdom. A scientific guide accompanies you and animates your visit to the Aquarium, with an autonomous visit to the Museum, or vice versa. Duration of the animated visit: +/- 1h30.
