JOEL SARTORE, the internationally renowned National Geographic photographer, has devoted a large part of his life to photographing animal species (12,000 to date) in order to establish a directory of the world's biodiversity that he calls PHOTO ARK. Discover his work in this new temporary exhibition!

This essential testimony for scientists and researchers is also a plea to defend our biodiversity which it is essential to preserve. When a species becomes extinct, our ecosystem is disrupted.

This exhibition brings us face to face with the animal, questions our power to influence the extinction of animal species and our own condition as humans. Photographs of exceptional beauty!

One of the oldest monastic foundations in Belgium and exceptional heritage of Wallonia

Welcome to the Abbey of Stavelot and its site, which is listed in the exceptional heritage of Wallonia. There are plenty of interesting things to discover starting with the history of one of the oldest monastic foundations in Belgium, through the artistic world of one of the most remarkable personalities of the 19th century, the poet Guillaume Apollinaire, and finally the most beautiful racing circuit in the world.
