An afternoon dedicated to engraving, inking, printing and enjoying the etching magic with the family! By combining games, riddles and manipulations, the museum invites young people to discover printed art.
A space specially designed for children welcomes you at the entrance to the museum: a large wooden matrix on the floor and a table with small molds, paper and colored pastel colors.
The Barda game for children and parents is free and permanently available at the museum reception for children from 6 to 12 years! It consists of a game route woven into the visit, with pencils and illustrations about the engraver’s tools.
On the 1st floor, the campaign “One month, one print” shows a piece from the museum collection every month. The work is explained in French and in Dutch, with a comment posted at sight level of the children.
THE WORKSHOP: from initiation to the print to your favorite technique!
The workshop is adapted to the age and education of the children: monotype, rubbing, engraving on linoleum, engraving on wood, engraving on rubber, dry point on plexi, …
