Discovering the sculptor Ianchelevici

Located in the heart of the city, MiLL is an art center dedicated to sculpture and current art practices.

With a friendly and family atmosphere, it is an interactive and intergenerational space.

Its collection presents the life and work of the Romanian sculptor Idel Ianchelevici (1909-1994): drawings, plaster modeling, bronze sculptures and direct stone cuts.

The museum also has a policy of temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.

The pedagogic service offers school and family activities, internships, guided tours and adapted visits (visually impaired, auditory, mental).

LPeople with specific needs

Because art and culture are accessible to everyone, the museum offers guided tours adapted to vulnerable target groups: the hearing impaired, the visually impaired and the mentally handicapped, thanks to multisensory courses, sign language activities and adapted educational activities. Discover our various projects: the Museum within reach, Gesture & Museum, Slim Museum.

In 2010, the museum’s permanent collection was adapted to the visually impaired and blind through a multi-sensory journey. Since then, the museum offers guided tours adapted to this public, but also to the hearing impaired and the mentally disabled. In 2012, the museum received the CAP48 prize from the citizen enterprise in the Coup de cœur category for the measures taken in favor of vulnerable target groups.
