The Archeoforum of Liège, one of the largest urban archeological sites in Europe, is located under Place Saint-Lambert, in the heart of the city. High place of heritage, it presents during a brand new mysterious, surprising and didactic course, a unique vision of the history of the City and its Principality.
The project, designed for both adults and children, is the essential starting point for any visit to Liège.
Groups
Under the suggestions you will find “A day as Prince-Bishop”. A trail that allows groups of 15 to 25 people to discover three hotbeds of the history of the Principality: the Palace of the Prince-Bishops, the Archeoforum and the Cathedral Treasury. A cultural route in the heart of the city, coupled with a meal made up of gastronomic specialties from Liège.
Schools
While the interactive iPad tablets offer family visits, including games and manipulations for the youngest, various animations are developed based on different educational levels. These various educational or recreational activities cover the history of the site, the remains of the various buildings that one can discover here, but also the lifestyles of our ancestors.
Companies
A multipurpose room with a capacity of 150 people, with image rails, a removable stage, lighting and sound equipment, offers an exceptional environment for your receptions, meetings or conferences. Accessible to people with reduced mobility.
