Ecomuseum of Ben-Ahin
The Ecomuseum offers a journey through the major periods of history, starting from local archaeological collections. Bones of the glacial fauna, cut flints, Roman funerary deposits, medieval weapons, objects belonging to the industrial era … are supplemented by various reconstructions as well as tables that allow us to visualize more easily the life of our ancestors in a rural environment.
Outside, a garden of utilitarian plants, local or imported in the course of history, completes your visite.

Archaeological objects found on site and reconstructions illustrate the subject. Nature and heritage activities – for groups, schools and individuals – are regularly organized in our buildings or in the nearby Solières valley to vividly convey the approach of these two regions.
