Exhibition “Animalia”

In recent years, worrying messages have been heard about the deterioration of living conditions on Earth. The preservation of biodiversity and the fight against climate change are therefore major challenges for our contemporary world. In this context, the train, thanks to its low CO2 emissions, represents an asset in favour of sustainable mobility and has more than ever a bright future ahead of it. Through the Animalia exhibition, Train World invites you on a poetic and scientific journey, dedicated to the preservation of our environment, particularly from the point of view of biodiversity and climate. Pierre-Yves Renkin, a renowned animal sculptor, has been invited as a guest artist to exhibit a series of works representing animals in our museum. These animal sculptures are displayed in the museum in dialogue with our railway collections.

This exhibition is also an opportunity to highlight the efforts of SNCB and Infrabel to reduce the impact of their activities on the environment and the climate. and the climate.

Train World

A steamy history of trains and lines

Train World is a unique train experience that takes you from the very first steam locomotives to the high-speed trains! It is a world that appeals to all senses to grasp the railway in its multiple facets. A visit to Train World is a surprising and active excursion for young and old.
