A must-see attraction in the heart of Brussels, in an exceptional Art Nouveau setting by Victor Horta, the Comic Strip Museum brings together on more than 4,200 m2 exhibitions devoted to both the pioneers and the most current trends int he 9th Art.
The regularly renewed permanent exhibitions and a diversified programme of temporary exhibitions enable visitors to discover the countless aspects of comics art. The Smurfs lead the way towards further adventures, an encounter with a world where creativity has no limits.

OGroups
A group is made of 15 or more people. Groups can visit the museum freely or with a guide (by reservation). Guided tours can be classical or focused on a specific theme (Art Nouveau, classical or modern comic strips, Tintin,…) on request. The visit with comic book suitcase can also be requested for school groups or children from 6 to 12 years old (French and Dutch only). This suitcase is composed of a multitude of fun activities to done with the guide.
Finally, the comic strip route is another possibility for a guided tour. It is a walk to discover the city and the many comic strip frescoes that decorate its walls.

Tours adapted to the age and interest of the group can be arranged by reservation. Other tours focusing on specific themes (Art Nouveau, classic or modern comic strips, Tintin,…) are also possible.
For primary schools and associations working with children from 6 to 12 years old, the visit with the children’s suitcase is very much appreciated. This suitcase is composed of a multitude of fun activities to be done with the guide (French and Dutch only).

The museum offers venues to hire to companies wishing to organize events such as cocktails, gala dinners, seminars, press conferences or meetings. The Bob de Moor auditorium and closed rooms are available all year round, as well as the hall, mezzanines and the light pit in the evening. Teambuilding activities are also available.

Families who come to the museum reception desk can receive a questionnaire or a photo rally for their children on request. Treasure hunts are also organised on certain Wednesdays during the school holidays.
Children from 7 to 11 years old can also celebrate their birthday with their friends in the museum every weekend (Sat. and Sun. 2.30pm-5pm) and supervised by at least one activity leader (reservation in advance).
Finally, introductory courses in comics are organised during school holidays (reservation in advance).
PSeniors
Seniors (+65 years old) benefit from a two euro reduction on their entrance ticket.
LPeople with specific needs
For visitors in wheelchairs, the entrance to the museum is via an inclined plane via the Brasserie Horta (access through the door to the right of the main entrance). After passing through the Brasserie you arrive in the central hall. A lift in the back on the right will give you access to the other three floors, including the museum reception (1st floor).
A wheelchair and adapted toilets are also available for our visitors with reduced mobility.
