Exhibition “LOVE – ANIMAL STORIES”

02/05/2021 h 04/09/2022 F Rajouter au calendrier 2021-05-02 2022-09-04 Europe/London Exhibition “LOVE – ANIMAL STORIES”

More than an exhibition, LOVE is a real emotional experience... A mirror of our Animal Stories.

"LOVE - ANIMAL STORIES", THE NEW PHOTO EXHIBITION OF THE MUSEUM OF WALLOON LIFE, QUESTIONS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMANS AND THEIR PETS THROUGH THE EYES OF FIVE INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHERS.

This family photo exhibition highlights the unconditional love between humans and their pets.

Through the eyes of five international photographers, the exhibition questions the privileged place of the animal in our homes, revealing a fusional daily life. Today, this irrepressible attachment invades social networks and photos of pets flood our profiles as if they were our reflection.

Alicia Rius, Grace Chon and Sophie Gamand, based in the United States, immortalise it in its simplest or most exuberant form. The Londoner Gerrard Gethings illustrates the "who looks alike, comes together", while Thomas Mangold, from Germany, associates the animal with the world of beautý. So many nuanced looks to underline a single feeling: love.
