Hier kan men een natuurlijk en geologisch, archeologisch erfgoed ontdekken tijdens een familiale wandeling

Het massief van Furfooz werd permanent bewoond sinds de prehistorie (grotbewoners) tot in de Middeleeuwen (op het plateau). Het verdwijngat van een onderaardse zij-arm van de Lesse is eveneens goed waarneembaar. Deze zijarm stroomt verborgen onder het kalkmassief. We onderstrepen graag de uitzonderlijke archeologische waarde van de site. Diverse talrijke vondsten laten ons toe het menselijk verblijf doorheen de eeuwen te achterhalen. In een minder ver verleden, hadden de Romeinen, bij het einde van hun overheersing, hier een fort en een badhuis.
