250 works testify of 6 centuries of textile

The collections present at TAMAT reflect the diversity of the textile arts.

From 15th century old tapestries, remarkable heritage of the city of Tournai, through the post-war movement of “Forces Murales” and to the most contemporary works: more than 250 works testify to 6 centuries of textile.

TAMAT also houses research and experimentation workshops, a documentation and study center and a conservation and restoration workshop.
